About
Volition AI Ltd is a research-led artificial intelligence consultancy that helps organisations unlock value from emerging technologies. We combine academic expertise with commercial software engineering to design, develop and deploy intelligent systems that solve real business problems.
Our expertise spans machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, quantum computing and data-driven decision support. Whether advising on AI strategy or delivering production-ready solutions, we focus on technologies that are robust, explainable and aligned with organisational goals.
We work with charities, public sector organisations, research institutions, universities, creative industries and innovative businesses—from early-stage startups exploring new ideas to established organisations modernising their operations. Every engagement is tailored to the unique technical, operational and strategic challenges of the organisation.
A significant proportion of our work is undertaken under strict non-disclosure agreements. As a result, many of the systems, research collaborations and commercial projects we contribute to cannot be publicly showcased. The work presented on this website represents only a small selection of our collaborations and capabilities.
Founded by Prof David Windridge and Dr Santosh Tirunagari, Volition AI bridges cutting-edge research with practical implementation, helping organisations confidently adopt AI technologies that deliver measurable and lasting impact.
